We flipped the last build: this time African mahogany takes the field, with a tight center stringer of hard maple and mahogany pinstripes running nose to tail. Five light maple lines down the middle, just like an old wooden surfboard. Same backbone underneath — 9-ply Baltic birch core — so it's got that solid, damp feel under your feet without being a tank.
It's finished in a natural oil gloss, so the grain stays alive and every board ages a little differently with sun and sessions.
