About Us…..

I’m Adam. I started Dirty Woody in my garage because every board at the shop looked like it came off the same mold. I wanted wood with a story.

Every Dirty Woody starts as rough lumber, not a pre-made blank. I hand-select and laminate exotic hardwoods from around the world — African mahogany and zebrawood for that striped bite, purpleheart and padauk for color that doesn’t need paint, Hawaiian koa, mahogany, maple, and walnut for flex and strength. I cut, shape, sand, and liquid grip each deck myself. No CNC factory runs just hand crafted.

Surf-shaped pintails coming off the bench raw, then out on the street getting tested the same afternoon.

I build two kinds of rides:

•Push boards: classic longboards, cruisers, and pintails. Made for carving, commuting, and actually feeling the road. Light, responsive, and built to last longer than your shoes.

•Electric boards: same hand-made wood deck, but with the torque and battery hidden underneath. I do the full build — motor mounts, ESC tuning, range setup — so you get the soul of a wooden board without having to kick up that hill by the 91.

Dirty Woody is still family-run. If you see two kids holding boards bigger than they are, that’s us living the dream. Every board is built to order in California, and if you want a specific wood combo, wheelbase, or graphic inlay, we’ll make it.
