This one is pure California garage-build. A classic 70s fish shape with a pointed nose and deep swallow tail, laid up by hand in Corona, CA. No paint, no veneer wrap — just real wood doing the talking.
The deck face is book-matched hard maple framing two center stripes of African mahogany. The warm red-brown mahogany catches the sun, the pale maple stays bright on the rails. Underneath it's all muscle: a 9-ply core of Baltic birch for that stiff, predictable pop you want in a cruiser that actually gets ridden.
We left the grain open under a natural oil finish so you feel the wood, not plastic. Every board is a little different because the wood is.
